About Anika Sethi

Anika Sethi writes and hosts To Scale, an independent guide to the five casinos of Toronto and the GTA. She appears on the site as a drawn character, and the site says so.

Anika Sethi, the site's drawn host, sits on a tall stool with a folding rule across her knees.

One ruler, five casinos

Anika Sethi takes every count, room number and capacity from the casinos' own pages and Great Canadian Entertainment releases. Then she draws them with one ruler. One block stands for 100 machines, and one tile for 1 live table game. A tower floor is 20 hotel rooms. Each block of seats is 100 people of stage capacity.

Where a figure does not divide evenly, a part block is drawn for the remainder. The units are the site's own choice, so the same block means the same thing at every casino in the guide. Next to each figure sits the date of her check. A reader can see the size of a room before going.

How a figure gets checked

The rule of the ruler is short. She uses the figure that the casino's own page shows now, from its counter or its text, and dates it. Where no current figure exists, the drawing carries no number. If two current figures on official pages differ, the method page names both.

Facts on the site were checked on October 7, 8 and 9, 2026. The checks ran against the casinos' own pages on greatcanadian.com, Great Canadian Entertainment news releases and official sources. Each page shows the date of its check. Holiday hours are never given; they should be checked on each casino's own site.

Who pays for the site

To Scale is an independent guide. It is not a casino, takes no bets and has no accounts. Casinos, OLG, the province and help services never pay the site, and readers are offered no rewards.

Paid links appear on the home page only, and each is marked Ad. There are three: one in the menu, one just below the first screen and one near the end. All three lead to the same online casino partner, which can change, and the site earns a commission. Those links are for Ontario only: players must be physically located in Ontario. Inner pages, this one included, carry no paid links.
